Crowne Plaza Terrigal Pacific has appointed of Ben Hislop as Director of Sales & Marketing, joining the team in Terrigal in April 2021. Hislop s return to his native Central Coast follows more than a decade of work for parent company IHG® Hotels & Resorts across a number of Crowne Plaza® and Holiday Inn® hotels in Australia. Most recently, Hislop opened the brand-new Crowne Plaza Sydney Darling Harbour as Director of Sales & Marketing.
Hislop s appointment comes in the wake of a $3 million refurbishment of all conference and event facilities in September 2019 and a $4 million refurbishment of the ground floor beachfront venue, Terrigal Beach House, redesigned by Design Madgwick and completed in January 2021.

Rikhsibay Tursunov has been with the property since its pre-opening phase and has been described by the GM at pivotal for the hotel s operations and F&B success. In his new role, he will take on all operational functions of the property, helping streamline operations and ensuring the hotel is hitting market demands. He will also have a hand in guest experience, quality of service, hotel efficiency and risk mitigation.
Tursunov has been in the industry for more than 25 years, with much of that time spent within IHG. One of his earliest positions was in 1996, where he worked in the F&B department for IHG in Uzbekistan. In 2003, he moved to Abu Dhabi as assistant restaurant manager of InterContinental in the area, before becoming director of catering and convention services for Crowne Plaza in Dubai.
