A Mathura district court on Saturday ordered the survey by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) from January 2 of the Shahi Idgah Mosque, which some right wing groups claim was built on the birthplace of Hindu Lord Krishna.

Meerut: Days after taking wedding vows around an angeethi , an interfaith couple has been on the run from Uttar Pradesh police. The incident took place in Kanker Khera area of Meerut district.
The groom has now been booked by the city police under the new Uttar Pradesh Prohibition of Unlawful Conversion of Religion law. Police have also booked the mother of the bride.
