PlayStation controllers are all the rage nowadays. PS5 pads are selling well, PS4 controllers were some of the previous generation s best-selling accessories, and last week s announcement that more colours are on the way for the current-gen gizmo went down a treat. While there s no way of tracking pre-order numbers, the trailer that revealed the new PS5 DualSense controller colours of Midnight Black and Cosmic Red currently sits on 1.3 million views. It has already beaten the recent Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart State of Play gameplay presentation by a significant margin in just two days. The demand and interest are plain to see PS5 owners want new controller colours.
PlayStation’s Ratchet &Clank: Rift Apart State of Play was mostly dedicated to showing off the incredible-looking upcoming game. However, Sony dropped a few surprises before diving deep into Rift Apart. One of those was the announcement that Among Us is coming to both PS4 and PS5 this year.
The new update doesn’t have a firm release date just yet, but we don’t expect to wait much longer. When it does launch, PlayStation players will have access to an exclusive Ratchet & Clank skin, hat, and pet. As we saw in the announcement trailer, the Clank pet is absolutely adorable. Just look at how cute he is running around behind your character. And, to be fair, the Ratchet skin and hat aren’t half bad either.
One of the most highly-anticipated video game releases of 2021 is Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. Coming exclusively to the PS5, the next entry in the Ratchet & Clank series is set to launch on June 11.
