A woman was killed and a man was injured after being hit by a passenger bus when its driver lost control in Munshiganj s Gazaria upazila yesterday evening.
The incident took place at Jamaldi bus stand area on Dhaka-Chattogram Highway around 7:00pm when the Cumilla-bound bus collided with the divider after its driver lost control, ramming into the woman, aged around 50 years, and leaving her dead on the spot, reports our Munshiganj correspondent quoting Rifat Mallik, station officer at Fire Service and Civil Defence station in Gazaria.
