Assault and drink driving - the latest Sunderland court cases before magistrates

Submitting. The following Sunderland cases were dealt with in South Shields at South Tyneside Magistrates Court. Christopher McGrory, 49, of Florian Mews, Grindon, Sunderland, received a 12-week jail term, which was suspended for 18 months, was banned from driving for 35 months and was ordered to pay a £128 victim surcharge and £85 costs after admitting drink driving on October 31. Stanley Dodds, 55, of no fixed address, received an eight-week jail term, which was suspended for 12 months, and was ordered to pay a £128 victim surcharge after admitting breaching a restraining order on November 28. Aaron Preston Richardson, 31, of Ridley Terrace, Sunderland, received a four-week jail term, which was suspended for 12 months, and was ordered to pay £245 compensation and a £128 victim surcharge after admitting handling stolen goods on October 9 and fraud by false representation on November 29.
