People who were involved. Authorities are telling us they do not yet have an arrest. Two suspects in a Mountain View Home Invasion case made their First Court Appearance today. This involved a landlord accused of trying to use force to evict her tenants. A judge said ringleader identified as is at risk to public safety. Her bail was set at more than 75,000. Her friend Stephen Carling of san jose is accused of using a knife to try to pry open the front door. He is also being considered a risk to the community. Both got a restraining order inhibiting contact between them and the victims. The homeless man accused of attacking a woman outside of her San Francisco condo has been denied bail. Even after new charges against him were dismissed. An attorney for 25yearold Austin Vincent argued that new charges brought against him for a separate attack in february were a case of mistaken identity. Vincent was in Southern California at the time. The judge agreed to dismiss the charges. But decline

In insurance nonrenewal. Reporter from 2015 to 2018 670,000 homeowner policies were not renewed in california. In the bay area that number was nearly 95,000. Property that cannot be insured is less valuable. That means less property tax. Local governments will be unable to afford the services. Insurance commissioner willie described this as the fear of community unraveling. I think that is what we are trying to head off. Reporter one option the insurance commissioner is considering is creating a Home Fire Safety standard. That any home that meets the standard would have to be issued an insurance policy. He said the system has worked in other states and he is confident it could work here. Solutions like that just cant come fast enough for people like phyllis here in mill valley. Governor newsom stopped in on teachers and students in paradise who are starting school nine months after the campfire destroyed almost all of their town. Two Elementary Schools had to be combined under one roof
