LOWELL The School Building Committee received $36.9 million worth of good news on the Lowell High School rebuilding project during its Thursday night meeting at City Hall.
The construction of the new Lowell High School is well underway, but the more daunting half of the project still awaits. That’s the belated message emanating from the most recent School Building Committee meeting.
LOWELL The $381 million Lowell High School rebuilding and renovation project is 50% done and on track to be completed by the summer of 2026, according to project representatives from Suffolk Construction, the owner’s project manager Skanska and architect firm Perkins Eastman.
LOWELL The themes of community and Lowell pride were threaded through the remarks of all five Lowell High School graduates who were recognized at the 19th annual Distinguished Alumni Award Reception during an afternoon ceremony held on Thursday.
LOWELL Tuesday is the opening day of the 2023-2024 Lowell Public School year, and Lowell High students are retuning to a much-transformed campus, said Rex Radloff, a project executive with Suffolk Construction, the lead company on the six-year, $381 million project.
