The Minutemen won the Edgewood ISD Passing League championship June 28. Memorial defeated Medina Valley in the title game with a touchdown pass at the end for its eighth win in nine games. “The guys we have only played six games last year,” Memorial coach Kemmie Lewis said, “so it’s still pretty much like the first time they’re playing on varsity. They’re still learning about playing on that level and knowing their role.”
