Mayor-elect Cherelle Parker announced her transition team at City Hall on Thursday and said she plans to name a police commissioner before the Thanksgiving holiday.
The body of a Tuscaloosa man missing since early October was recovered by police from a wooded area off a roadway in Tuscaloosa County and two people have been arrested in connection to the grim discovery.
