Police are preparing for the biggest bikie procession the state has seen in recent times, with hundreds of mourners set to hit the road on Wednesday to farewell slain Rebels boss Nick Martin.
The public has been urged to stay clear of major roads in the northern suburbs, where hundreds of police will escort mourners to Pinnaroo Valley Memorial Park, where Mr Martin will be laid to rest.

Detectives investigating the killing of former Rebels bikie boss Nick Martin have been forced to sign gag orders banning them from speaking publicly as police concede they are yet to firm up any suspects.
Mr Martin, 51, was fatally shot by a suspected sniper on Saturday night while at the Perth Motorplex with his family.
“We’ve got a lot of work to do,” he said during a press conference on Thursday.

WA Police have arrested Ricky Chapman, who was injured in a shooting at a speedway in Perth s south on the weekend which claimed the life of Rebels bikie Nick Martin.

He allegedly breached parole by associating with bikie gang members
Police say the bullet that killed Nick Martin also injured Chapman
Taskforce Ravello officers arrested Chapman last night.
The 31-year-old was injured at Kwinana Motorplex on Saturday night and had surgery on Monday.

He believes the person who fired the fatal shot is a professional or ex-military sniper and may have come from the the eastern states. Unless it was a fully trained professional or an ex-SAS sniper, I can t see anyone else making that shot, Mr Russo added. A kill shot at 300m, in those conditions, it s big. It s a long shot. I doubt they d use anybody from here, and they would have had to be a professional or ex-professional. Someone with SAS training.
