MUNCIE, Ind. After a laundry list of local summer events were postponed or canceled in 2020, many are annoucing their return as warm weather nears and the school year comes to an end.
Muncie and its surrounding areas will be home to plenty of outdoor, family-friendly activities, ranging from fairs to concerts. Some old favorites, like Artswalk, will return, while others will be totally new.
In late April, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) updated its mask guidelines for the summer, stating fully vaccinated Americans don’t need to cover their faces while outdoors anymore, unless they are in a big crowd of strangers.
MUNCIE, Ind. After being put on hold due to COVID-19 last summer, the Three Trails Music Series will return to Canan Commons this July.
In its eighth season, the series will bring four critically acclaimed national recording artists to downtown Muncie in a series of free concerts spanning the months of July through September.
The Muncie Three Trails Music Series is a nonprofit partnership among the Muncie Downtown Development Partnership, Muncie Arts and Culture Council, and Rick Zeigler, series founder and organizer. I am very excited to have the Muncie Three Trails Music Series back for this year, Zeigler told The Star Press in an email. Live music is a great way to experience talented artists and bring the community together.
