Days are getting shorter on this amazingly cool summer we have had. The cranes have flown and many of our friends who have homes in warmer climes are packing up to fly as well. It’s understandable.
As August winds down and September starts, we enter the last month of summer production at the Homer Farmers Market. This hasn’t been the warmest or sunniest summer, but as we could see at last week’s Zucchini Races, there was still fun to be had.
It’s that time again. You can tell by a thicker traffic on the streets and the greening of the trees. Summer is arriving. And driving past the site of the Homer Farmers Market, you can see that they have been preparing for opening this weekend.
