As quickly as it showed up, the water was gone. On Tuesday, Shelby Township residents were pulling up to Ford Field Central Park looking for bottled water because their tap water is undrinkable.
The boil water advisory is affecting more than 100,000 people and now communities are calling on the state to step up and get their residents the resources they need.
The break happened at the Lake Huron water treatment facility Saturday morning, forcing Governor Gretchen Whitmer to declare a state of emergency in four counties.
