REALTORS donate to food pantries

REALTORS donate to food pantries Dec. 17, 2020 FacebookTwitterEmail GLEN CARBON The Greater Gateway Association of REALTORS recently donated $4,100 to 10 area food pantries through its Instead of the Taste of GGAR virtual event. GGAR President Elaine Rhodes said the group’s members are happy to aid the food pantries in Bond, Calhoun, Fayette, Montgomery, Macoupin, Madison and other Metro East counties. COVID-19 mitigations caused the group to rethink how it supports residents in need during 2020, she said. In March GGAR hosted its annual Music Themed Trivia Night, sharing $3,000 to provide personal protection equipment to area hospitals and nursing home facilities and $4,000 with local food pantries.
