East Palestine firefighter Rick Gorby and others finish evaluating damage to a vacant structure on Waterford Road near New Waterford on Wednesday. Fire crews from the New Waterford, Negley, East Palestine, Springfield Township and Darlington Township departments fought the blaze at what was once Jones Construction. The fire started from a burn pile and quickly spread from a field to the unoccupied structure.
