One man is dead and another is in hospital with gunshot wounds after several shots were fired in a residential neighbourhood in Langley, B.C., on Tuesday night.
Police said Langley RCMP officers responded to reports of gunfire at 207th Street and 53A Avenue at approximately 11:38 p.m. PT and found a 22-year-old man shot dead inside a vehicle and another man, also in his 20s, alive but injured.
Police say they expect the injured man to survive.

Five people have been killed in Metro Vancouver in recent weeks. All the victims including a 14-year-old boy were known to police or associated with gangs.

After five deaths including the murder of a 14-year-old boy from six gang-related shootings in Metro Vancouver over the past few weeks, police and politicians are calling for a ceasefire.
