Washington State University named Wendy Powers as the new dean of the College of Agricultural, Human and Natural Resource Sciences, according to a news release.
Selected following a national search, Wendy Powers will join WSU on Aug. 15. She previously guided statewide agricultural research and extension for the University of California division of Agriculture and Natural Resources.
Backed by a more than $3 million fund, Steve Culman will address priorities in irrigated agriculture, including the need to better understand and protect soil.
