A second gunman has been questioned in last week s fatal Battle Creek shooting.
Battle Creek Police Detective Sgt. Joel Case said Tuesday a 24-year-old Battle Creek man was interviewed by detectives on Monday.
Police are continuing to investigate the shooting death on July 28 of Andre Watson, 27, and injury to his sister, Alesha M. Williams, 29. Both were shot outside an apartment house at the Arbors of Battle Creek, 74 Rambling Lane.
Watson was pronounced dead at the scene and Williams was treated at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo for gunshot wounds to the legs and released later that day.
Lansing M. Hodges, 29, who lives in the apartment complex, was arraigned Friday on charges of open murder, assault with intent to murder and four weapons charges in the shooting.
