Worcester logistics firm set to expand its site

A LOGISTICS company has been granted permission to build more than 70,000 sq ft of logistics space at its site in South Worcester. St Modwen Park Broomhall is a 12-acre site and will be developed in several phases, with the first phase set to commence in March this year. Two units consisting of 42,711 sq ft and 30,240 sq ft will be delivered, providing high-quality warehouse and logistics space for the area. The company has also submitted plans to build an additional 79,907 sq ft in three units for phase 2 and, if approved, will be delivered in 2022. A spokesman for St. Modwen said the company could create a further 300 new jobs across the region and will be designed to meet the growing demand for warehouse and logistics space in the area.

In December 2001, he told Vlast, a Russian weekly, that while Indira Gandhi va
