fishtailing, i knew i didn t want to be driving there. reporter: a normally 20- minute drive turned into a six- hour odyssey after getting stuck, shirley called her snow- bound husband don at home to help. i had a couple of friends who said we ve got a van and we ll go get there. reporter: so don asked his buddies to get shirley. after finding shirley and the car, they wound up getting stuck too. it was such a position, we knew we couldn t take that carney farther. reporter: shirley decided to leave the car and ride home with her friends not knowing if or when she d see her car again. we wondered all night. we were concerned all night about what was going to happen to it. reporter: when don called the state police, the trooper who answered said he d seen shirley s car. it was right where she left it and hadn t been ticketed so don s next call was to dave. thanks to dave s trucks, shirley not only got her car back but a lesson learned about staying too late at wo

called the mother-daughter murders. they were shot and killed in january of 2009. about six weeks later the bodies of the dewitt s were found in the trunk of a stolen car set on fire. today s indictment is in the dewitt case but police confirm that scott is the suspect in the lofton murders and sources tell fox 5 scott is a suspect in the murder of vilma butler. she was shot inside her home in 2008. the killer set the house on fire. neighbors say scott comes from a good family but they were aware of him having a criminal history from a young age. one neighbor says he s known scott since childhood. he said if you sat down with him, he would make you like him. he is very smart. now, scott has a bachelor s degree in information systems management from the university of maryland university college. that s from 2008. police say he worked for ups and they say that his ownership employment employment is a core part of this investigation. we heard you say he was indicted for two
