That has spread lightning as close as napa last night. But for the bay area, its all about the widespread stratus locally. We still have some smoke in the Sierra Nevada drifting into the mountains while our stable atmosphere will clear on out and give us more sunshine today. So a mixture of clouds. Heres a look at the sierra where it looks pretty gray out there. Well see temperatures a little cooler today, inland, upper 70s to upper 80s and the warmest inland valleys. A reporter asked goodell about inconsistencies in how the league is handling some of these cases of abuse. The 49ers defensive end is playing and others on the sidelines. I dont know whats going on, but this last week has been absolute mayhem. One resident told us theres been an increase in what appears to be gamerelated crime gangrelated crime in the area. It was a horrific sight for those near the busy stockton tunnel in San Franciscos chinatown. It struck just before 10 00 this morning. Were live now in the city after talking to witnesses who tell her that this is dangerous intersection. Reporter thats right. This stockton street tunnel is on one of the most dangerous corridors in the city with one of the highest rates of pedestrian deaths and injuries.
