OKLAHOMA CITY -
When Richard Moio first heard about an organization that builds beds for children who don’t have them, starting an Oklahoma City chapter wasn’t a decision he had to sleep on.
“I’ve always been the type to give back on a regular basis, so might as well do it a little differently, said Moio.
Richard and his friend Larry Savage are co-presidents of the local chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace, a national nonprofit that was founded nine years ago.
Savage delivers for a local organization and has always been struck by the number of homes he’s been in, without beds for children.
