Judy was born January 9, 1945 in Concord, North Carolina; the daughter of Arthur Eury and Minnie Ledbetter Eury. Judy was raised in the area, attending both Concord Public School and Cabarrus Public Schools; she graduated from M. R. O Dell High School. Judy married Richard Messer in Jonesboro, Georgia on June 11, 1986. Judy was a strong, independent woman, who looked for opportunities to serve others. Judy had a long career as an administrator with the Department of Defense. She was loving, kind, this wasn t limited to just people, and she would rescue many cats, dogs, and horses through the years.
