The NBA All-Star break is quickly approaching. Fans have feverishly been voting for their favorite players to participating in the game. Voting closed earlier this week, and now we know the starters for each conference.
The Western Conference representatives for the starting five are Golden State Warriors point guard Steph Curry, Dallas Mavericks point guard Luka Doncic, Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James, LA Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard and Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic.
As pointed out, LeBron James will be the captain representing the Western Conference, as he received the most votes. Brooklyn Nets forward Kevin Durant will fill that role for the Eastern Conference as the highest vote-getter.

The Los Angeles Lakers are once again one of the best teams in the NBA and will be as long as LeBron James and Anthony Davis are there. If there are any flaws to this team, it is their lack of consistency out on the perimeter. This is something they could look to improve in another trade.
During their championship run, the Lakers lacked consistent point guard play and did not have great three-point shooting. This led them to a trade with the Oklahoma City Thunder to acquire Dennis Schroder.
The Lakers still lack a bit on the perimeter and could look to add another dynamic to their roster. This is where the Atlanta Hawks come into play as they have some intriguing young talent that could help Los Angeles.
