Firefighters at Laguardia Airport after the plane carrying governor mike pence, his staff and traveling press skids off the runway. We had hard landing. Ben it was pouring rain at laguardia when the plane touched down. And then the press in the back of the plane could feel the plane fishtailing back and forth. Ben the pilot stopping just in time. Laguardia is surrounded by flushing bay on three sides. The plane not far from the bay. Ground stop earlier. To kill the time, the governor played some touch football at the airport before leaving iowa. Luckily no injuries, the governor posing for a photo with some of new yorks bravest.
