You see a lot of flowers, candles, a lot of artwork, which is a beautiful touching tribute to those who have dedicated their lives to the arts. They came an hour before the service was to begin, but once inside, they realized there was no room left to stand. Families and friends filled the room and the halls of the congregation in berkeley to remember the life of media artist jonathan bernbaum. Though his life ended tragically with 35 other artists and Creative Minds in the ghost ship warehouse fire, bernbaums life was remembered with laughter. I find myself frequently in the position of being asked what did your brother do exactly . Reporter its been a weekend filled with memorials and tributes to the friends and lives lost last week inside a warehouse converted into living quarters and artistic space.
