Swindon Crown Court A CONSTRUCTION firm boss who continued to manage the business in spite of a company director disqualification will be sentenced later this summer. Richard David Brown, 72, agreed in 2011 not to act as a director for six years after his firm Richard Brown Homes Ltd went into administration. That was extended to 11 years in 2017, after an Insolvency Service probe found he’d continued to run Door Stores (Swindon) Ltd. The firm, registered in Old Town, went into administration owing HMRC almost £200,000. Co-directors Richard Edward Brown, 37, and Alan Roche, 56, agreed with the government they would not act as a company director for three-and-a-half years.
