KPD: Man arrested after allegedly trying to stab woman with a knife

A man was arraigned on Tuesday on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after an incident on Sunday. Officers with the Killeen Police Department were sent to a residence in the 5200 block of Daybreak Drive in Killeen domestic violence call, according to the arrest affidavit. When they arrived, they found a man running into an open field and the officers pursued the man and they found him hiding in some trees. After a struggle, the officers were able to handcuff the man, Felipe Caban, and the woman that called the police told the officers that she was removing some of Caban’s things from her vehicle when she found a bottle with 15 Xanax pills and she flushed the pills and confronted Caban about them, according to the affidavit.

Coe will continue serving on the Ravenna-based community bank s board of directors but will be succeeded in the CEO post by Kevin Lewis, who is currently serving as president and chief lending officer. Portage Community Bank was established in 1998. It has grown to four offices three in Portage County and one in Summit County, in Cuyahoga Falls, which it opened in early 2020 and reports approximately $470 million in total assets.

NJ students: SCVTHS students earn medals in championships View Comments Throughout the month of April, Somerset County Vocational & Technical High School (SCVTHS) students competed against other career and technical education students from around the state, in both virtual and in-person events, as part of the 2021 New Jersey SkillsUSA Championships. Out of the 73 students from SCVTHS who competed, 54 received medals including 25 gold. The gold medal winners are now eligible to test their skills at the upcoming, virtually held, SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference (NLSC) in June.  During the National Leadership and Skills Conference (NLSC), more than 6,000 career and technical education students will showcase their talents and compete in 100 different trade, technical and leadership fields.  All contests are run with the help of industry, trade associations, and labor organizations. The test competencies are set by industry.
