welcome back, police were closing in on fotis. they believed he murdered his wife jennifer, then covered up the crime with the help of his girlfriend, michelle troconis. now investigators were about to reveal a chilling new piece of evidence in the case against fotis. here is dennis murphy with the conclusion of the day jennifer disappeared. four months after our interview with fotis, there was a knock on his door. police arrested him for jennifer s murder. states attorney, richard calandrello, the head of the investigation, told dateline he waited until he had an airtight case before filing the homicide charge. i want to make sure that we had all the information we are able to. to prove the case when we went forward.
