A University of Chicago student has been confirmed as one of the many killed in the June 24 Surfside condo collapse.

University of Chicago student has been confirmed as one of the many killed in the June 24 Surfside condo collapse.
The mother of Ilan Naibryf confirmed on Facebook following the collapse that him and his girlfriend, Deborah Berezdivin, were in the Champlain Towers South condo building.

We at Loyola University Chicago are devastated to hear that Loyola s Quinlan School of Business school alumnus Juan Mora lost his life in the Surfside condo collapse. Juan was a cherished and active member of the Loyola community, and we pray for his family, friends, and colleagues during this extraordinarily difficult time.
