A developer has lost his fight for county incentives to support a multimillion-dollar mixed-use project he proposed on long-vacant land in East Naples.
The interested developer, David Parker with P6NT LLC, who has the property under contract, asked Collier County commissioners to invest in his condo-hotel project to make it a little more attractive and a little less risky.
The project has been proposed in the pizza-sliced mini-triangle area that the county has targeted for redevelopment for decades.
The developer and his attorney Rich Yovanovich have argued the project would act as the real catalyst the county has sought for 20 years, so it deserves incentives.
