so people who poo-poo stem cell research, what do you say to them? i say they re wrong. i don t know why you would poo-poo stem cell research. and this is using his own stem cells. so you don t have the argument of embryonic stem cells. that s out of the equation. you don t want any other richards? not really. one is enough. i don t want people to think this is easy and we re strong. there are days when we re both upset, when richard has said, i wish i were dead. i mean, it s that level of frustration, and depth of sadness. and then he pulls himself out. but i totally understand why people go to that dark place, because we go to it. and you really have to fight to get out of that place. and appreciate your life and what s interesting about this situation now is, the expectation game is really dangerous. yeah.
