Share Updated: 11:09 AM CDT May 3, 2021 KMBC 9 News Staff The Bates County Sheriff’s Office said it is investigating two apparent swatting calls that took place late Sunday evening.The sheriff’s office said the first call came in around 11:50 p.m. Sunday, and the caller sounded like a juvenile. The caller said his father shot and killed his mother and was still shooting a rifle in the house. Police said the caller told them he was hiding, and his father was trying to find him.
