Man killed in one car wreck A single vehicle accident shortly after 8 p.m. on Sandy Run Road in Riceboro has claimed the life of the driver Wednesday Dec. 9. According to Georgia State Patrol Senior Trooper, Quincy Melvin, Robert Charles Bacon, 41, was driving his 2015 Jaguar XJL,  on U.S. Coastal Highway 17 toward Riceboro when he left the roadway striking a culvert. The impact sent the vehicle airborne striking several tress in the process, until the vehicle stopped. Bacon, was pronounced dead at the scene.
