Miyoshi is set to stage Group B fixtures at the Women's Baseball World
Cup from September 13 to 17 prior to the final stage of the tournament
due to take place in Canada's Thunder Bay next year.
This past year has been shaped by a number of momentous events for the
World Baseball Softball Confederation and the international baseball
and softball family. Most notably the first-ever Baseball5 World Cup.
The World Baseball Softball Confederation is set to work with the
International Sports Federation for Athletes with an Intellectual
Impairment to promote baseball and softball.
Baseball5 has been confirmed on the programme for next year's Asian
Indoor and Martial Arts Games, adding to the discipline's portfolio of
multi-sport events.
The World Baseball Softball Confederation and LEVERADE have struck a
two-year agreement to award the winners of the Baseball5 World Cup and
the governing body's Virtual Cup with digital medals and trophies in a
NFT format.
