A 19-year-old woman was flown to a hospital Saturday afternoon in critical condition after being shot allegedly by her ex-boyfriend in Cypress, authorities said.
Sheriff’s deputies responded around 3:15 p.m. to the shooting in the 11200 block of Riata Ranch Boulevard, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
The woman’s ex-boyfriend, Stephen Jefferson, 18, was arrested on suspicion of shooting her and charged with aggravated assault, said Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas An 18-year-old man has been arrested after his ex-girlfriend was hospitalized Saturday in critical condition, investigators confirmed.
Harris County Sheriff s Office responded to a shooting call at 3:16 at Riata Ranch Boulevard near Sienna Falls Drive.

Officers have identified the suspect as Stephen Jefferson, who they say is charged with aggravated assault.
