The Rhode Island Society for the Prevention of Cruelty Against Animals is offering a reward for information that leads to an arrest in the recent death of a dog.
According to RISPCA, on January 11, a dog described as a female Chihuahua type, approximately 3 - 7 years of age, 8-10 pounds and brown in color was found unresponsive but breathing in a soft cooler bag.
She was transported immediately to an animal hospital for treatment but due to the dog s condition, she had to be humanely euthanized.
Reward Offered
The Rhode Island SPCA is offering a $500 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible.
