School of Nursing Takes on a (Simulated) Disaster

When it comes to nursing, “Reading [about] it is one thing and actually doing it is another,” says Dr. Joanne Costello, Professor at the Rhode Island College School of Nursing.  Students got to do much more than read when the School of Nursing ran its first disaster simulation trial in October.

Five URI Students from Montville Named to the Fall 2020 Dean s List

The students represent nearly all of Rhode Island s cities and towns, all six New England states, New York and New Jersey, and many other states and countries. The following students from Montville Township were named to the Dean s List: Shelby Braden of Montville Dana Jean Krudys of Montville Johnny Marshall of Pine Brook Sophie Velocci of Montville To be included on the Dean s List, full-time students must have completed 12 or more credits for letter grades during a semester and achieved at least a 3.30 quality point average. Part-time students qualify with the accumulation of 12 or more credits for letter grades earning at least a 3.30 quality point average.
