Roanoke Rapids men face drug counts

At approximately 5 p.m. Tuesday, Kevin Marquette Ingram, 37, of Roanoke Rapids, surrendered to Agent B.J. Murphy at the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office. Agent A.D. Cash had obtained warrants for the arrest of Ingram for sell of cocaine, deliver cocaine, possession with the intent to sell/deliver cocaine and maintaining a vehicle/dwelling for a controlled substance, according to a press release from Capt. Anzell M. Harris. The incident occurred at Ingram’s residence in the 1000 block of Rhea Smith Road in Roanoke Rapids. Agents had received a citizen complaint of Ingram selling from this residence and Agent Cash followed up.
