Librarian Rhea Fohs said the aim of the screenings was to show that libraries had so much more to offer communities than just books. “It’s nice to come together as a community and enjoy a good story on the big screen.” Colleague Miranda Keech said subscribing to streaming services allowed libraries to offer members a wider variety of film genres than what they could offer through their DVD collections for rent. “Kanopy and Beamafilm are perfect for catering to an audience with lots of interests – they have everything from classic films to popular documentaries.”
