Image Credit: SUBMITTED/ Interior Health May 03, 2021 - 6:30 PM The Okanagan-Similkameen Regional Hospital Board will take another look at a $1 million funding request from Interior Health at this week’s hospital board meeting. The board will also be asked to approve a letter to the Minister of Health expressing concern over a lack of transparency and openness with regard to the new urgent and primary care centre that opened up March 31 at 437 Martin Street in Penticton. The letter to the ministry is intended to point out what the board says were December, 2020 discussions “so vague, that the board could not consider funding it, referring to the urgent and primary care centre.
