Through Yuko’s magic, Mokona takes Syaoran, Fai, and Kurogane back to the Kingdom of Clow. However, something is badly awry in the country Syaoran left behind. They discover the inhabitants reliving the same evening over and over without change. By the time the travelers figure out what’s happening, they’ve irrevocably upset the time-space magic cast upon the populace with devastating consequences.

Somehow Raizo survived the battles in the Yagyu clan from the last volume. Unfortunately, his mother’s Ihai monument did not. The Ihai was broken and it seems his mother’s spirit has departed. This may have broken Raizo’s heart, but it freaks out the Ninja Girls as they fear Mother’s spirit may become a vengeful spirit and haunt them forever. The task of finding a princess for Raizo to marry is quickly disregarded while they try to put Mother’s spirit back into the Ihai, or to rest.
While many of us continue to hope for the
Nodame Cantabile anime series to get picked up, AsianCrush has added the live-action series to its ranks today. The eleven episode series originally aired in 2006 and is based on the manga of the same name by Tomoko Ninomiya. That series ran for 23 volumes between 2001 and 2009 and saw some release from Del Rey Manga.
