A 38-year-old Carson City man faces a felony sexual assault charge, admitting to investigators that he committed the crime against a 16-year-old girl. Joaquin Canales-Montes is being held on $100,000 bail. He was arrested Tuesday after agreeing to a voluntary interview by Carson City Sheriff s Office investigators.
A 50-year-old Carson City man was arrested Friday on a felony charge of possession of a stolen vehicle after he had been stopped and then took off running from officers before being caught, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said. James Dean Anderson was taken into custody at 4:38 p.m. in the 1500 block of Continental Drive.
