Rex Heuermann, 59, was taken into custody at his home in Massapequa Park early Friday over the slayings of four women who were found wrapped in burlap and dumped within days of each other in late 2010, multiple sources said.
Neighbors of the NYC architect arrested in connection with the grisly “Gilgo Four” murders admitted they had “chills” thinking the suspect had been nearby for so long.
Heuermann, who was arrested Thursday in connection with the 2010 Gilgo Beach killings, has long worked as an architect whose projects are mainly commercial.
