Motorcycle Runs Into Heavy Equipment, Driver Seriously Hurt Authorities are investigating a traffic accident in which a motorcyclist was seriously injured when his bike collided with a piece of construction equipment. The accident happened at about 8:30pm Monday (April 26) at the intersection of Williams Boulevard and Prairie Avenue in Fairfax. Get our free mobile app A truck driven by 63 year old Rex Hamilton of Marion, was pulling a trailer loaded with paving equipment when he crashed into a construction barrier. A piece of equipment fell off the trailer, landing on the southbound lane of traffic. Photo from Getty Images A motorcycle driven by 25 year old Jordan Brown of Fairfax, hit the equipment in the road and went out of control. Brown fell off the bike onto the street; he was taken to University Hospitals in Iowa City by LifeGuard Air Ambulance.

The message behind one of the newest Austin murals Tori Larned Replay Video UP NEXT If you take a drive around Austin, it would be tough to miss the bright and unique touches of art that fill the walls of the city.  Nearly one year after the coronavirus pandemic hit Austin, a new piece of art is front and center for many eyes to see.  We did this project to support mental and physical health through the pandemic, said Raasin McIntosh, the founder of Raasin in the Sun, the organization that led this project. The mural is called Be Well  and spans 10,000 square feet along both sides of the North Lamar Boulevard underpass just south of Fifth Street.
