Failures in Mexico's economic model have pushed millions ofunemployed workers toward the U.S., creating a crisis on both sidesof the border. President Felipe Calderón must reformMexico's economy to create new private-sector jobs, and PresidentBush and Congress should support Mexican efforts to help solve theimmigration crisis, open Mexico to more U.S. exports andinvestment, and secure our border.
