TROOPERS pursue erratic driver

KETCHIKAN (KDN) â Local law enforcement on Friday afternoon spent more than an hour attempting to engage with a man who fled to a Bolles Street residence after driving erratically through the Revilla Road area, but ended contact after determining the man was not a threat to public safety, according to an Alaska State Troopers dispatch. U.S. Forest Service officers noticed a truck speeding through a camp ground near Revilla Road, causing other vehicles and pedestrians to âhave to take evasive action out of fear of the approaching vehicle,â according to a Saturday press release from the Troopers. The driver did not yield to directions from USFS officers, and AST responded to the area to pursue the vehicle.
