蔡總統：台灣已不是學步初期民主 而是與他人共同前進的成熟民主 - 政治

總統強調，「未來如何持續地深化台灣的民主走向世界，就是我們這一代人的挑戰和使命」。 總統說，因為有1991年的多項改革，才有當年的國大代表第一次全面的改選，及隔年的立法院第一次全面的改選，讓台灣可以啟動一連串的民主改革，並且在1996年完成第一次總統的直選。 她說，李前總統執政的期間，台灣突破了威權的框架，創下了許多的第一次，也踏上了憲政民主之路，這是李前總統被稱為民主先生的原因。看到去年許多民眾到台北賓館悼念李前總統，都在追思牆上留言感謝李前總統對台灣民主的貢獻，相信透過這場特展，大家重回1991年來，當時國內外的各種的挑戰還有朝野如何爭辯國家發展的方向，可以有更深的了解李前總統如何逐步地推動台灣的民主化。 總統說，在這裡要特別謝謝為這次展覽付出的每個人。在展品中不僅有國�
