TWO Musselburgh churches have been busy supporting local people with donations of food during the Covid-19 crisis. Musselburgh Baptist Church opens its foodbank every Thursday morning between 10am and noon, while St Andrew’s High Church members have been helping out East Lothian Foodbank. Ross McNab, assistant pastor at the baptist church, said it was “amazing” that the congregation was back together meeting in person since the end of March, adding that the church wanted to extend “a warm welcome to our wider community to come join us”. He added: “We are meeting together every Sunday and currently hold three services at 9am, 10.30am and noon. Each service lasts approximately one hour and contains a mixture of music, teaching and prayer.
