Students will have fewer questions to answer in the Leaving Cert this year, if they choose to sit the tests.
But the Department of Education announced last night the duration of the exams would stay the same.
The department is also advising schools not to run mock exams, as part of the calculated grades process.

Minister for Education Norma Foley is expected to make an announcement on this year s Leaving Certificate, this afternoon. We spoke to Reuban Murray, President of the Irish Second-Level Students Union who outlined what they are expecting from today’s announcement.
